AQON PURE is a limescale protection system without salt, which is installed in a building's domestic water supply after the water volumeter (water meter). AQON PURE uses the limescale protection process of seed-crystal formation to reduce limescale deposits in the household.

For hygienic purposes alone, surfaces still need to be cleaned regularly. AQON Pure makes cleaning processes easier, but they cannot be neglected altogether. Because other substances are dissolved in drinking water in addition to limescale, deposits may appear (if water is left standing on surfaces and evaporates). However, these are easier to wipe away. With AQON PURE technology, you can also do without harsh scouring agents, aggressive limescale protection chemicals and steel sponges. The use of mild and environmentally-friendly detergents is enough. If surfaces are not cleaned over a long period of time, hard deposits can form again under the influence of CO2 from the ambient air. Regular wiping protects against this.

No, AQON PURE does not need maintenance. The robust construction guarantees trouble-free and durable operation. We recommend only an annual visual inspection for leak tightness. You can do this yourself. A specialist is not necessary.

AQON PURE limescale protection systems can be installed by installation companies or specialist companies in the HVAC (plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) sector. No special product training is necessary. The installation and operating instructions enclosed with every product contain all the information required for installation. We would be happy to contact your local installation company and discuss the installation of an AQON PURE system. Alternatively, AQON PURE has a network of several hundred partner companies throughout Germany, which means we can even offer you the installation at a fixed price. We would be happy to discuss both options with you during the offer phase and respond to your individual requests.

The system can be installed in a short time and takes up very little space. AQON PURE is installed in the cold water supply pipe after the water volumeter in the respective building. For this, only a straight pipe section of approx. 40 cm – 60 cm in length is needed (depending on the product size). AQON PURE systems can be integrated in the pipe horizontally, vertically or at any desired angle. If there is not enough space, the installation of what is known as a loop is recommended. We would be happy to advise you without any obligation about the installation options for the AQON PURE system.

Traditional water conditioning systems for the treatment of hard water such as water softening systems with salt (ion-exchange systems) use sodium chloride to reduce limescale deposits. During the process, chloride enters the environment through the wastewater from such systems. AQON PURE does not produce wastewater and it does not require sodium chloride. Furthermore, there are limescale protection systems that require certain consumable materials to work, such as limescale protection granules or certain cartridges which need to be replaced after a certain amount of time. AQON PURE does not need these either. In comparison to this, AQON PURE is made of 100% metal and is 100% recyclable.
